A profile · Shrey Doshi
Shrey Doshi is an Indian creative entrepreneur and the Founder and Creative Director of Yellow, an independent multidisciplinary creative agency headquartered in Mumbai. Established in 2013, Yellow has grown from a design-led studio into a creative company working across brand strategy, identity, social media, campaigns, film, animation, CGI and digital experiences.
Over more than a decade, Shrey has built Yellow around a conviction that strategy and craft should never be separate. His approach places equal importance on the thinking that shapes a brand and the precision with which that thinking is expressed. Rather than treating branding, communication and production as independent disciplines, he has developed an agency where they inform one another.
Under his leadership, Yellow has worked with Indian and international businesses across beauty, luxury, fashion, retail, real estate, consumer goods, wellness and technology. Its portfolio includes collaborations with brands such as Sephora, Hamleys, Tira, Lifebuoy, Birla Estates, Godrej Properties, OZiva, Sony Music and Phoenix Palladium.
What began as an independent creative venture has evolved into a multidisciplinary organisation bringing together strategists, designers, writers, filmmakers, animators, technologists and brand specialists. Shrey continues to oversee the agency's creative direction, its broader positioning and the standards that inform its work.
His perspective on brand building is rooted in distinction rather than volume. He believes the most enduring brands are not necessarily those that communicate the most, but those that establish a recognisable point of view and maintain it consistently. For him, restraint, clarity and considered creative decisions are as important as originality.
As the creative industry evolves, Shrey has also been closely involved in integrating artificial intelligence, emerging technologies and new production capabilities into Yellow's practice. His interest lies in how technology can extend creative possibilities, improve execution and enable new forms of brand experience without compromising judgement or craft.
Beyond individual projects, his role has increasingly centred on shaping the organisation itself: bringing together the right people, building an environment for ambitious creative work and ensuring that the agency continues to evolve without losing its independent character.
Thirteen years after founding Yellow, Shrey remains closely involved in its creative philosophy and direction. His work reflects a long-term interest in the relationship between design, culture and commerce, and in building brands that feel distinctive without needing to be unnecessarily loud.
